Pike LUNKERBOWL Postponed

While fishing is allowed and boat launches have been opened, after closer review and further meetings this morning, council regrets to inform us that the Pike Lunkerbowl fishing event scheduled to operate Saturday, May 29 out of Pride of Balsam will need to be rescheduled to a later date to accommodate the province-wide stay at home extension order. Although the CSFL met all criteria outlined by the health unit, unfortunately due to the extension organized special events are not allowed regardless of meeting health unit guidelines.

The CSFL is actively working to find an alternative date for the Pike Lunkerbowl, all anglers will be notified once this has been determined. We want to thank all the anglers for their overwhelming response for the Pike Lunkerbowl event.

At this time all CSFL bass events will remain scheduled and registration will continue. Should any changes or rescheduling need to be made we will notify all anglers immediately.

The CSFL continues to put our anglers, sponsors and supporters at the heart of what we do and why we do it. We are committed to being both responsible and responsive, navigating through these times with everyone’s safety in mind. We continue to monitor regulations to ensure we do our part for our team, anglers, sponsors, supporters and host communities. We hope you take advantage of the beautiful weather forecasted for this weekend and enjoy the great sport of fishing. Please continue to care for the well-being of one another.
