STOUFFVILLE, ON - The CSFL is thrilled to announce the 2024 CSFL National Classic XXVIII will take place in Huntsville September 7 and 8.
“We are thrilled to bring the annual CSFL National Classic to Huntsville! Huntsville is a destination we have been wanting to explore for years and finally have the opportunity to offer anglers in 2024! Our team has been working with the Town of Huntsville to ensure a great experience for both the community and the anglers along with opportunities that we can create with local businesses. I look forward to working with Mayor Nancy Alcock and the whole team at the Town of Huntsville!” Andrew Pallotta of the CSFL states.
“The Town of Huntsville welcomes the CSFL National Classic and would like to thank the organizers for selecting our community for this exciting tournament. We look forward to hosting some of the best anglers in Ontario in our community and on our waterways.” Mayor Nancy Alcock
The Town of Huntsville offers plenty of amenities for anglers not only leading up to the National Classic but all year round. With many options for accommodations along with activities outside of fishing, Huntsville is a beautiful community with year round attractions!
The three-lake chain includes Peninsula Lake, Fairy Lake and Lake Vernon, providing plenty of water for the competitors. Weigh Ins will take place downtown Huntsville at River Mill Park (10 King Street, Huntsville).
Andrew adds “The CSFL and the Town of Huntsville are collaborating to provide an exciting experience both the anglers and the community while protecting the natural resource. As always fish care is the number one priority in all CSFL events and will be working with local groups to ensure the Invasive Species Prevention Program is in place. The show will be back in full swing, with local bands and businesses welcome to participate in the event along with lots of giveaways and the coveted top five teams of Day 1 driving by on the final day!”
The top 35 teams from the Eastern Tour, top 35 teams from the Western Tour, top 10 teams from the Berkley Tour, top 10 teams from the DT Opens Tour, top 10 teams from the Abu Garcia Wildcard Tour, top semi pro winners of the PRO BASS Cup Series (Kawartha Cup, Bronzeback Cup, Quinte Cup and 1000 Islands Cup) and additional opportunities through CBAF and OBN will advance to the 2024 CSFL National Classic XXVIII. CSFL Qualification is based on combined points within the respective tour using the best four events utilizing only one of the Wildcards as a substitution (with the exception of the Abu Garcia Wildcard Tour). A minimum of four events is required to qualify for all tours. Competitors fishing with various partners in a tour may qualify as an individual.
The CSFL will continue working with various groups and established events in offering additional opportunities to anglers across Ontario to participate in the CSFL National Classic in not only creating a grand end of season event but also growing the Classic purse payout further!
